Geyer Auctions was founded in 1955 by Ken Geyer and has continued to be family owned and operated for the last 68 years. Originally started as a livestock auction company in Pennsylvania, Geyer Auctions has evolved to become a national leader in Real Estate and Business Liquidations. The company has grown to include two more generations supported by a team of 20. In 1999 Mark Akins, the nephew of Ken Geyer became president, expanding Geyer Auctions services to include Vehicular and Fleet Liquidations.
Geyer Auctions held the largest liquidation to date on the East Coast for Garden State Park RaceTrack. The 10,000 lot liquidation spanded five days with five live auctioneers.
The Ken Geyer Auction company held auctions for major corporations including Mobile Oil, General Motors, Agway and Enterprise. Auctions have also been held for municipalities like PGW, City of Pittsburgh, Borough of Malvern, Oley Township and more.
Real Estate and personal property auction have been held all over the North East. References are always available.
